After a 25 year career in the private medical sector, Deirdre (Dee) Carswell transitioned into the charity sector with the help of a six‑month placement organised by The Well Placed. After finishing the placement, Dee secured a role as Head of Fundraising at Skylarks, a London based charity which supports children with additional needs.
